Something Blue for You {Roseville and Sacramento Wedding Planner}

I often get asked about helping my bride's find something unique or new for their "Something Blue". Here are some GREAT ideas.

 "I Do" sticker appliques for your shoes (great for a church wedding, sneak peek for your guests when you kneel to pray
 Oldie but a goodie-the blue garter
 You may think you don't need a handkerchief but if you're anything like me YOU DO!! Great way to incorporate a little blue and personalization
 This is for the last minute bride...tie a ribbon on it and be done
 This one's only for the groom to know what's blue :)
 Incorporate it into your jewlry
 or go all the way!
 Add a POP of color and shake things up with any blue hue for the big day
 Colorful petticoat is fun way to add that blue into the mix
 Accent your bouquet a little

or actually bring in the blue flowers to your bouquet
Add a splash of blue to those cute toes

Put a little bow on it...shoes that is

or go all the way with those fancy blue shoes

 Another option for a little blue accent jewelry
 Take it literally and pin it on anywhere...bouquet, garter, shoe...it's your choice
 Add some bling to your hair style
or comb it in with a gorgeous hair accent piece.
 Get your girls involved and make it a game. Have them sign the bottom of your shoes before you walk down the aisle and the one that's left at the end of the night (that can be read clearly) is the next to wed.

September Sweeties {Roseville and Sacramento Wedding Planner

We are proud to share the wonderful engagement photo of Nicole and Blaine due to wed is September.

They come to us after a call from Nicole (the bride) inquiring regarding staffing for a friends wedding a year ago. We chatted and she said she would keep our contact info for the future. A few months later we received a call from her and she insisted on meeting with us even though Nicole (the head coordinator) would not be able to coordinate her wedding due to the fact that her due date is 4 days after her wedding date!! Long story short, Nicole and Blaine hired Conway Creations (Nicole's assistant will be doing their wedding) and we couldn't be happier to share in their big day!!!

A Beautiful Day in Tahoe for a Wedding {Roseville Tahoe and Sacramento Wedding Planner}

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Wynkoop!

Tahoe was the prefect venue for Natasha and Mike's Wedding this past Friday.  Natasha had a great vision and selected wonderful color statements that just popped in the trees and helped to make things warm and whimsical.  Their fabulous location is really what made this wedding, from their ceremony just off  Speedboat Beach and then at the indescribable breath-taking private residence. First, a beautiful sandy beach within walking distance from the home reception with a sea side beach view from all sides. Next, was the natural beauty of the beautiful wildflowers and the bountiful boulders that surrounded the rustic cabin style home that is truly a special place that is sure to create everlasting memories.

More photos to come soon.

 About The Wedding Planning Institute:
The Wedding Planning Institute, a division of Lovegevity.com Inc., is the industry leader in certification and training for wedding and event professionals. LWPI has established an academic network of nearly 2,000 colleges and universities in the United States, as well as a network of international colleges offering LWPI's Wedding and Event Planning Certification. Established in 1997 by Cho Phillips, LWPI was founded with the sole purpose of providing an academic career path for aspiring wedding and event planners. In addition to an online curriculum, students can attend classes at a local college or university and learn from an established Wedding/Event Planner who has been in business in the local market for a minimum of five years. Students get hands-on training, assist at real weddings/events, meet with guest speakers such as local vendors, and attend site/venue tours. Upon graduation, LWPI students are positioned to join an existing business, participate in non-paid internships, receive job-placement assistance, or start their own business.
